The camera includes an on screen menu that allows camera settings to be changed using the onscreen display. This function provides preset menus in eight languages and allows camera settings to be adjusted easily.

Incorporating Sony’s new Effio chip and featuring peak white inversion, the CMD-2082 Series removes bright light from a scene, such as suppressing the glare from a spotlight to improve visibility and provide superb picture quality. It also offers noise reduction and an adaptive tone reproduction
function that improves the contrast of images in bright/dark areas.
